About Us

Hi my name is Mike Muia and I am the owner of MD Landscape & Design. You may recognize my name as this is one of the many things that I share with my father (Michael of Michael’s Hair Design and Day Spa). For as long as I can remember, my dad has been pushing me to do my best and has instilled a sense of entrepreneurship that has followed me throughout my life.

This is what lead me to start MD LawnCare with a childhood friend at just twelve years old, and has also given me the drive to keep pursuing this industry today. MD LawnCare has now been proudly servicing Thunder Bay for over a decade, and I am more excited every season at the opportunity to create lasting and meaningful relationships with our growing clientele and staff.
